Okay, so... it's not like I'm super busy today or something. I've just decided that today will be the day of an EPIC BATTLE.

Round 1
I sneezed about ten times in a row this morning as I tried to check my email before leaving for work. Still feel lightheaded from it and it's almost 11, so I think I'm coming down with something.

Round 2
Ever since one unfortunate instance of locking myself out of my apartment, I always double check for my keys before my apartment door closes. Today, as I approached my car, I realized that not only did I not double check, so I pressed the button on my car to unlock my door, fingers crossed that my keys were present to trigger the unlocking guy... and they totally were.
Point: Katy (bonus for building suspense by trying to unlock the car door before checking purse for keys)

Round 3
At about five different points on my drive to work, I realized my new "keep the car running" driving playlist is AWESOME.

Round 4
I was stuck a few cars behind an eighteen wheeler that had a slogan painted on the back of the driver's cab. At first I thought it read "Life in the faith lane." (UGH. Advantage: Wednesday) When I got closer, I realized it wasn't a pun, it actually read "Life in the fast lane." (Advantage: Katy) But, really, dude drove really fucking slow.

Round 5
After finally passing the eighteen wheeler, I was almost side-swiped by, and then got stuck behind, a little white car. (Advantage: Wednesday) I saw that it was a VW Rabbit, after which I laughed and thought of a variety of quotes from Super Troopers to entertain myself. (Advantage: Katy) Alas, I was alone, so really, all those great lines were wasted.

Phi burned me the last two episodes of Gossip Girl.

I was just informed that something I've been working on for weeks had a fairly obvious typo that I never once caught in the million revisions this thing had. Sure, no one else noticed it either, but STILL. EPIC FAIL.

Round 9
Whilst waiting in line at Potbelly's, there was a dude playing acoustic guitar terribly. The song he was warbling sounded vaguely familiar, but he was omgsobad I could not place it. This was destined to bug me til the end of time. (Advantage: Wednesday) However, on the way back, somehow the correct neurons fired and my brain supplied the answer - "Bang Bang" by Dispatch. (Advantage: Katy) Jill mentioned I should add this win to the epic battle tally. I completely forgot it (Advantage: Wednesday) until this one-sided exchange happened:

Although now that I think about it, it really could have been a shitty acoustic version of Stroke 9's "One Time" and since I lost my headphones a week or so ago, I cannot verify this until I get back into my car to leave work. Once in the car, my memory has faded of the shitty original, so I cannot make a conclusive ruling.

Round 11
Somehow, Domanique has outlasted Katarzyna on ANTM. THIS IS BULLSHIT.
